The Rancho El Mezquital Surf Resort will be a eco friendly, first class surfing community located in southern baja California Mexico. We will offer on demand quality surfing waves at the push of a button. The sport of surfing has become a multi-million dollar sport that has worldwide participation. The wave machine concept has inspired 30 new facilities to open up worldwide. We are a Mexican corporation, owned by Neil Graham, an American currently residing in San Juanico, Baja Sur Mexico and Francisco Javier Mesa Aguilar.

Community
As of June 23, 2025 Rancho El Mezquital has been approved to develop 10 hectares for a wave machine and residential lots. Our primary objective is to attract an established wave pool developer for a strategic partnership. We will offer 11 parcels of commercial and 30 for residential development in close proximity to the wave machine. Our salt water wave will offer several different size and quality of waves for every person’s ability or desire, all at once, from every wave produced. Within the community resides a ten acre mangrove forest that will remain in its natural form, providing hiking and nature observations. A restaurant, hotel and lounge will overlook the wave pool. The community borders the Mezquital River allowing access for sailing, paddle boarding, swimming as well access to the ocean just a kilometer away.

The objective is to create a tropical style surf garden. Along the beach side of the machine, a landscaped boardwalk with restaurants, palapas and lounge. Houses lining the shore with other lesser properties within walking or biking distance form a tight-knit secure community of like-minded enthusiasts.
